As Norma departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Norma may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Norma leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Totheroh and Lillian Totheroh (Swartz); her husband Charles Wayne Irvin; and her brothers, Maurice and Robert Totheroh.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Irvin of Wellington, IL and Mike Irvin of Normal, IL; her sister-in-law Barbara Irvin; her close friend Edye Bookwalter (Tom); and her godchildren, Lucas Burge (Lisa) and Samantha Bruens (Steve). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Norma to Prairie Green Church of Christ or Iroquois Memorial Hospice.
