He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert E. Harden and Bernece Harden (Jackson); his siblings, Lila J. Divan, Leta L. Shores, Lester Harden, Larry Harden (Madeline) and Ron Harden (Betty); and his brothers-in-law, Larry Masengale and Danny Kirts.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Harden of Hoopeston, IL, Rex L. Harden Jr. of Westville, IL and Jeffrey T. Harden (Teresa) of Conway, AR; his siblings, Annis Kirts of Kingman, AZ, Linda Masengale of Rossville, IL, Ken Harden (Carol) of Muncie, IN and Blayne E. Harden (Paula) of Anaheim, CA; his siblings-in-law, Janet Harden of Noblesville, IN and Gary Divan of Oakwood, IL; his grandchildren, Josh Wallace (Melissa), Dylan Wallace (Hannah), Roseann Fanone (Chris), Ryan, Maranda Harden, Tayla and Kyra Harden; his great grandchildren, Elena, Calvin Fanone, Rhys Harden and Ruby Wallace; and his nephew Rex (Maureen Martin). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
