He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dee Theodore "Jack" and Lottie Sadie Latham (Shikany); his grandparents, Ellias, Effie Shikany, Thomas and Hilda Latham; and his siblings, Ronald Latham and Marion Chastain.
He is survived by: his children, Vaughna Allen (Roger) of Hoopeston, IL and Douglas Latham (Kim) of Carmel, IN; his sister Ginnie Napier of Freeland, WA; his grandchildren, Natasha Allen (Bryan Hammond), Brenna Pantig, Aubrey Allen, Gabriel Allen (Anya), Charis Allen, Elizabeth Bedford (Logan), Lauren, Rachel, William, Cole and Kathryn Latham; and his great grandchildren, Charles Bedford, Jade Pantig and Evelyn Allen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (323 E Seminary Ave, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
