Suzanne Lawson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne Lawson of Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Suzanne departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Suzanne may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Suzanne leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McCrory and Francis McCrory (Brown); her husband Michael Lawson; and her siblings, Barb Snyder and Bobby McCrory.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tonia Jo Lawson of Paris, IL, Lisa Kaye Martinez (Mark Mann) of Milford, IL and Tracy Ann Lawson of Hoopeston, IL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Suzanne to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
