He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Richter and Mildred Richter (Eldridge); his wife Margaret Ellen Long; his siblings, Ethel, Howard, Frank, Margaret, Norma, Linda, Dorothy and Robert; and his close friends, Carolyn Sue Dazey and Marie Urich.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Richter (Imelda) of Oceanside, CA and Laura Johnson of Lebanon, MO; and his grandsons, Julian Richter and Galen Richter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
