It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Frederick of Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Frederick and Thelma Mae Frederick (Probasco); his former wife Judy Haxton; his children, Amy Rieches (Joe) of Hoopeston, IL, Doug Frederick (Jen) of Huntley, IL, Kevin Frederick (Johnnie Lynn) of Yatesville, GA, Kellie Sheppard (Toby) of Hoopeston, IL and Sheena Frederick (Jason Gaspard) of Pearl, MS; his stepdaughter Starla Anderson; his siblings, Joan Shields (Randy) of Hoopeston, IL and Thomas Michael Frederick (Vickie) of Hampton, GA; his wife Melissa Frederick; and his stepson Billy Pierce. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Floral Hill Cemetery (301 W Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942).
