He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart J. and Mary Ruch, Sr. (Furlong). He is survived by: his children, Peggie Rossi (Alfred) of Hopedale, Corinne Smith (James) of Peoria, Elizabeth A. Ruch of Hopedale, Dr. John Ruch (Kathie) of Mansfield and Rodney Ruch (Susan) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and his brother Rodney Ruch of Marysville, Washington. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (128 Washington St, Hopedale, IL 61747).
