She is survived by: her husband Wayne A. Schaeffer of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Chad Schaeffer (Julie) of Hoyleton and Angela Knapp (Jon Evans) of Ashley; her grandchildren, Megan Grote, Emily Becker (Mark) and Kelsie Blue (Alex Auld); her great grandchildren, Addison, Oliver, Eliza, Makayla, Maysie, Madisyn and Kody; her sisters, Judy Kinsella of Belleville, Cindy Zgol (Richard) of Evans, GA and Tonya Honea (Don) of St. Augustine, FL.; her siblings-in-law, Rodney Schaeffer (Kris) of Trenton, Barbara Castellari of Centralia and Brenda Spencer (Bob) of Nashville; her caregiver Brenda Hubbs; her pets, Maggie and Patches; and her sister-in-law Betty Moses (Frank).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hoyleton Trinity Lutheran Church N. (205 N Main St, Hoyleton, IL 62803). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran School.
