He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Lawson and Louise Lowry Lawson; his wife Carla Conrad; and his brother Warren "Doc" Lawson. He is survived by: his daughter Kristina McKenzie (Lane); his grandchildren, Kylie Usher and Jadon McKenzie; his great grandchildren, Airy, Noelle and Aston Usher; and his sister-in-law Nancy Lawson (Bower).
