She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Luth and Adella Timmerman Luth; her husband James Carpenter; her son Randy Gene Carpenter; her son-in-law Arthur W. Wellman; her great grandchild Austin Stark (Pauline Shinn); and her brothers-in-law, Bob Shinn, Dick Mace and Dan Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Kaufman (Donald) of Quincy, IL, Rose Marie Stark of Quincy, IL, Terry Carpenter of East Hannibal, IL and Cindy Wellman of Barry, IL; and her sisters, Eilleen Watson of Memphis, TN and Selma Mace of Burlington, IA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
