With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Shawn Grist of Huntley, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 54. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Andrew Shawn Grist to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Grist and Margaret Grist (Peebles). He is survived by: his wife Gail Lynn Conforti; his children, Jordyn, Alyssa and John; his siblings, Debbie Whicker (Rae), Lois Govern (John), Shelly Grist-Watts (Peter), Dorothy Wycoff (Truman), Robert Grist (Margie) and Sara Naden (Tim); and his mother-in-law Linda Conforti. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary’s Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
