Bruce Nelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2025, at the age of 76, Bruce Nelson (Huntley, Illinois), born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bruce may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elaine Szep Miller; his stepfather Irving Millier; and his father Wanye Nelson. He is survived by: his half-brother Ed Nelson (Danette); his cousin Russ; and his friend Marcy Piekos.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schaumburg Golf Club. In 2020, as the world grappled with COVID, Bruce reconnected with an old friend, Marcy Piekos.
