She was predeceased by: her parents, John Byrne and Mae Byrne (Lynch); her brothers, Jack Byrne (Ellen) and Larry Byrne (Ann); her husband Bob DeFiore; and her children, John DeFiore and Julie Arza.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" DeFiore (Kaiser) and Carol Lynn DeFiore; her son-in-law Jorge Arza; her grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, Nicholas (Andrea), Vincent, Marisa, Joey, Bennett (Carlie), Olivia (Kalen) and Johnny (Nolan); and her great grandchildren, Brooks and Graham.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shriners Children's.
