Collin L. Schaeffer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Collin L. Schaeffer in Huntley, Illinois, born in Eureka, South Dakota, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Floyd, Alvina Schaeffer, Ralph and Donna Jean Schwartz; his uncles, Rodney Schaeffer and Bohn Peterson; and his cousins, Rebecca Dickens and Michael Bortnem.

He is survived by: his parents, Kathleen Schaeffer (Schwartz) of Garner, IA and Kenneth Schaeffer; his wife Amber Wolf; his children, Evan and Ella; his brother Chad Schaeffer (Molly) of Fort Dodge, IA; his niece Hannah Rossow (Jake); and his nephews, Drew and Caleb Schaeffer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorials may be directed to his parents, Ken and Kathleen Schaeffer, and will be used to establish a college fund for his children, Evan and Ella.
