She was predeceased by: her parents, John Silva, and Vivian M. Da Silva, Sr. (George); and her brothers, Dominick, Timothy and Thomas Da Silva.

She is survived by: her children, Serrah Linares (Ben), Karl Petermann, Joshua Petermann (Jamie) and Matthew Petermann (Courtney); her grandchildren, Noella, Nolan, Lillian, Connor, Noah, Nathaniel and Gianna; her siblings, John Da Silva, Jr., James Da Silva (Margaret) and Lisa Avera (Ron); and the father of her children Marty Petermann. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home (11603 Main St, Huntley, IL 60142). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
