She is survived by: her parents, Bruce Powers and Patricia "Pat" Powers (Vaughn); her significant other John Schiller; her friend John Schiller; her brothers, Andy and Adam Powers; her in-laws, Mike and Char Schiller; her siblings-in-law, Liz Rawe (Andy), Jenn Stith (Christopher) and Matt Schiller (Katie); her nieces, Abbey and Elaina Schiller; and her nephew Ryan Schiller. She is also survived by aunts and uncles; special cousins; a vast circle of loving friends and an extended family.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In the midst of a global pandemic and a recent diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer, she waded forward with clarity and determination, guided by a profound perspective of what she wanted from life.
