He was predeceased by : his parents, John Birt and Peg Birt (Pullen); and his sister Gayle Borst. He is survived by : his wife Nancy (Creighton); his children, Jenni Reisner (Mark), Mike Birt (Vidal Santacruz), Jeff Lozier (Aurelie) and Jamie Birt (Dan Murphy); and his grandchildren, Leighanna, Henry, Sydney Birt, Julien, Leo Lozier and Harrison Reisner. He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
