He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Susan) of Trinidad and Kathleen Lerner (Ken) of Wilmette, IL; his grandchildren, Jill, Lindsay Lerner, Hannah, Serena Casey, Nathan Lerner, Jonathan and Lawrence Casey; and his siblings, Samyann Masson (Mark) of Chicago, Samuel "Tim" Casey (Pam) of Marshfield, MO, Bonnae Casey of Chicago, Dan and Ralph.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 8:30 AM and at 8:32 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (105 Herrick Rd, Riverside, IL 60546). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
