He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wilson and Anne Wilson; his son Johnny Wilson; and his aunt Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Kerry Wilson (Michael Bognar), Neal Wilson (Rachel), Brigid Wilson and Barry Wilson; his granddaughters, Caroline and Lucy Wilson; his stepdaughters, Michelle Barker (Scott) and Becky Johnson (Jim); and his stepgrandchildren, Jackson, Andrew, Tyler Barker, Maddie and Alec Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Disabled American Veterans or Northern Illinois Food Bank.
