He was predeceased by: his parents, Friedrich Schoder and Paulalina Schoder (Schultz); and his sister Gerda Torno. He is survived by: his wife Erika Rossberg; his son Robert Schoder (Jodi); his grandchildren, Taylor and Christopher; and his brother Fritz Schoder.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home (11603 Main St, Huntley, IL 60142). A prayer was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 7:45 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
