With solemn reverence, we commemorate Margaret Hakes of Huntley, Illinois, whose life came to an end on December 7, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank DiNovo and Margaret DiNovo; her son Robert; her granddaughter Jessica; and her siblings, Mary and Frankie.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Hakes (Elena) and William "Billy" Hakes; her grandchildren, Monica, Josh, Alex Hakes, Samantha and Katrina; her great grandchildren, Jade and Noah Hakes; and her brother Thomas "Tommy" DiNovo (Prospera).
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A prayer will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
