With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene R. Sawicki in Huntley, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Pamela Beninati (Eric); her siblings, Edward Miller (Leona) and Delores Gardner (Ben); and her parents, Walter Miller and Adeline Miller (Blachut).
She is survived by: her husband William B. Sawicki; her daughters, Susan Leski (John) and Katherine Yauch (Ted); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Nicole, Amy, Jessica, Nicholas, Alexis and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Joey, Noah, Kaylee Aiden, Aalyiah, Elliana, Jaxon, Adeline, Riley, Olivia and Gabriella; and her sister Maryann Kriss (late Don).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A Mass was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (Old Dundee Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
