It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kay Schnitzius of Huntley, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael O'Connell and Annamae O'Connell; her sister Rita O'Connell; and her sisters-in-law, Katie and Marcy.

She is survived by: her husband Edward Schnitzius; her children, John Schnitzius (Beula), Michael Schnitzius and Kathleen Scheuing (Jerome); her grandchildren, Rebecca (Vincent), Megan, Alyssa (Lars), Evan (Jessie), Logan, Caleb and Sienna; her great grandchildren, Miles and Avy; and her siblings, Jack (Karen), Jim, Peg, Eileen (Tom) and Bill (Jane).
