He was predeceased by: his parents, Faustino Arevalo and Maria Luisa Carranza; and his siblings, Carmela Soto, Ricardo, Humberto, Carlos, Florencio and Edilberto Arevalo.
He is survived by: his children, Juan M. Arevalo and Lourdes Arevalo Villalobos (Freddy Arevalo); his grandchildren, Bijan Arevalo Garcia, Aiden Arevalo, Miguel Villalobos, Jesse Villalobos, David Villalobos, Elizabeth Villalobos, Qori, Ayar, Illari and Yuria Arevalo; his great grandchild Maximo Christopher Villalobos; and his wife Hilda J. Arevalo. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchild and many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Maximo's memory to American Cancer Society.
