He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Braico and Helen Braico; and his former wife Barbara J. Mertes Braico. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbi" McCoy Braico (Bobbi); his sons, Robert (Cheryl Braico) and Michael Braico; his stepsons, Kristian McCoy (Lisa Burk-McCoy) and Jeffrey (Tina McCoy); his granddaughter Bobbi; his brother Robert; Matthew Irving. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nick's memory to St. James Episcopal Church, 516 Washington Street, West Dundee, IL 60118.
