It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Dougal of Huntley, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Dougal to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gallagher and Bridget Gallagher; her husband Robert Dougal; her daughters, Kathleen Southerland and Maureen Stein; her siblings, Joseph, Owen, Charlie, Rose and Daniel; and her grandsons, Neal Thayer and Phillip Stein.
She is survived by: her children, Coleen McDonnell (Tom), Margaret Bakazan, Rosemary Dougal and Brian Dougal (Patricia); and her brother Tony Gallagher (Cathy). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind or Gigi's Playhouse.
