He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Wehnes and Louise Wehnes (Eugster); and his wife Susie. He is survived by: his children, Dody Wehnes and Ralph Wehnes III (Wendy); his grandchildren, Ashley Jomant (Josh) and Ralph Wehnes IV (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Gracie and Oakley; and his siblings, Elousie "Sis" Gavin and Gary Wehnes (Loraine).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Prairie Lutheran Church (10805 Main St, Huntley, IL 60142).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church Memory Garden.
