He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Marrs and Lora Marrs (Byers); his brother Robert Marrs (Deborah); his parents-in-law, Leroy and Natalie Devine; and his son-in-law Brett Knabel.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Marrs; his children, Christopher Marrs (Kelly), Brian Marrs (Stella) and Tracy Smith (Chad); his grandchildren, Lea, Tyler, Nolan (Hannah), Brandon, Jered, Gavin, Lexi, Jacob, Grant, Madelyn and Adam; his brother Richard Marrs (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Lyons, Beth Seeman (Norm) and Bill Devine (Janet).
