He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Brendel and Alice Brendel. He is survived by : his wife Jean Brendel; his children, Jennifer Mitchell (Aaron), Scott Brendel and Jeffrey Brendel (Yoomi); his grandchildren, Harvey, Juniper, Evan, Hudson and Evelyn; his brother Paul Brendel (Mary); his friend Jim Vogel; and also, Kay Kelly (Jim), Lois Wingert (Russ), Nancy Knudsen, Bill Knudsen (Michelle) and Mary Howe (George). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
