Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Susan Catherine leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Kowalczyk and Florence Kowalczyk (Whitlock). She is survived by: her daughters, Shannon Breon (Jim) and Kristen Weiss (Donny Azarela); her sister Diane Bergman; and her grandchildren, Sarah Breon, Max Breon and Daisy Azarela.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Animal Services & Assistance Program (ASAP), Inc, in Marengo, Illinois.
