It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Teresa Sowa of Huntley, Illinois, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Teresa is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Teresa's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by : her father Franciszek Gadek. She is survived by : her mother Stanistawa Gadek; her husband John Sowa; her sons, Adam Sowa and Charlie Sowa; her siblings, Marian Gadek and Bogumila Kochanek (Chris); and her godchildren, Mia and Mitchell. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 4:00 PM and on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 7:30 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
