In the vast expanse of eternity, Thomas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Thomas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anne, Fran, Jane and Buddy. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn V. Eggert; his daughter Julie; his grandchildren, Jessica (Javier), William (Jamie) and Kristina (Austin Swanson); and his great grandchildren, Miles, Bennett and Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
