It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Morehead Sr. of Hurst, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Allen and Billie Imogene Morehead (Gillispie); his spouse Dana Louise Helton; and his siblings, James, Larry, Clarence Matthew Morehead, Lawanda Jacquot, Judy Musgrave and Melba Hinkleman.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Hacker (Mark Cash) and Richard Morehead Jr.; his sister Beverly Cover (Jack); his grandchildren, Clifton Hacker (Sandy LaBarre), David Hacker (Chessney), Kiera Green, Zane Wallace, Hunter Morehead, Carter Morehead, Clayton Morehead, Randy Morehead, Nathan Morehead, Elizabeth Morehead, Gracie Morehead and Tessa Morehead; his great grandchildren, Jace Hacker, Dean Hacker, Jaxson Wallace, Aria Wallace and Tate Morehead; his daughter-in-law Stacy Dabbs; and his close friend Allison.
