He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy M. Lavender and Thelma Faye Lavender (O'Brien); his wife Sharon Kathleen Lavender; his daughters, Rebecca Clifford and Judith Lavender; and his siblings, Dennis Lavender and Janet Ansinelli.
He is survived by: his sons, Aaron Lavender (Barbara) of Ava and Matthew Lavender (Heather) of Carterville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jeremy Lavender of Ava, Tyler Lavender of Percy, Austin Lavender of Carterville, Hannah Lavender of Carterville, Cody Lavender of Christopher and Dustin Fleming of Vergennes; his son Devon Clifford of Hurst; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Ann Lavender of Woodlawn and Taylyn Lavender of Christopher; his grandchildren, Layla and Corbin Fleming of Vergennes; and his brother James Lavender of Energy.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Blairsville Cemetery.
