It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Irene Norton of Hutsonville, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Clark Winters and Ruby Irene Winters (Irwin); her husband Fred Norton; and her sister Betty Jane Winters. She is survived by: her daughters, Bette Jo Ramsey (Jay) of Hutsonville, Holly Ann Norton of Hutsonville and Susan Jill Weems (Greg) of Olney; her grandchildren, Bill Plew, Jr. (Rachel), Rob Plew (Andrea), Darla Atencio (Nick), Ember Kabes (Justin), Kendy Mitchell (Evan), Lincoln Keller, Larra Griffin (Shawn), Lyndsey Barth (T. J.), Marcus Weems and Madison Eagleston (Zac); and her nephew Kim Campbell. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pulliam Funeral Home (601 N Pleasant St, Hutsonville, IL 62433). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
