He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hendrix and Irene Hendrix; his wife Nina Saunders; his son Raymond F. Girt Jr.; and his siblings, David Hendrix, Avis Whittington and Dale Hendrix.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara J. Shuck (Stuart), Deborah Jo Hendrix and Walter L. Wise (Debra); and his siblings, June Kinney and Dean Hendrix. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
