We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 70, David Paul Sterbenz of Ingleside, Illinois passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Sterbenz and Carol Juul Sterbenz; his wife Colleen; his children, Cale Sterbenz (Katie), Caroline and Rosalie Sterbenz; his sister Vicky Thoene (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Deborah King (Al), Susan Baird, Janice Payne, Charles Payne and Andrea Mason (David). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations (12 N Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake, IL 60020). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Avon Centre Cemetery (21300 W Shorewood Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030).
