He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy A. Geger and Angeline "Angie" Geger; and his stepdaughter Erica Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Elicia Geger and Austin Geger; his granddaughter Nadia Rangel; his stepgrandsons, Robert Dush and Hunter Garcia; his sister Joyce Frounfelker (Clarence); and his nieces and nephews, Brian Frounfelker (Carol Leung) and Tracy Henkel (Jerry). He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Fox Lake Volunteer Fire Department Social Club Building Fund, PO Box 26, Fox Lake, IL 60020-0026, appreciated.
