He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Hironimus and Harry Hironimus; his siblings, Marg, Ed Locke, Jean Johnson, Carol Hironimus and Wesley Hironimus; and his son Al Hironimus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Genevieve Milianti (Mario) of Ingleside, Leann Medellin of Gary, IN and Shari Miles (Jerry) of Gary, IN; his grandchildren, Mario III, Angel, Sonny, Brittany, Jeramey, Josh, Gynger, Vanessa, Brandie, Richie, Tabitha and Raymond; his nephews, Eddie, Bobby Locke, David and John Luptak; and his niece Debbie.
