He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Lorraine Richards, Jack and Roberta Armstrong. He is survived by: his parents, Jill Richards of Ingleside, IL and William Richards; his brother William IV Richards (Mandie) of Fox Lake, IL; his nieces, Sophia Richards (Ryan Lewis) of St. Charles, IL and Madelin Richards of Rockford, IL; and his aunts, Debra Cerna-Madrid (Jorge) of Las Vegas, IL, Carole Richards of Park City, IL and Lori Fox (Hal) of Fox Lake, IL. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002).
