We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2025, at the age of 91, Mabel Cowger of Ingraham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah J. and Orie Kepley (Bryant); her spouse Rondle Allan Cowger; her son Stephen Cowger; her great grandchild Mitchell Coffin; and her siblings, Grace Mullins, Noma Mullins, Leone Kepley, Lowell Kepley and Nolan Kepley.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Cowger (Vickey) of Teutopolis and Laural Ackerman (Brett) of Newton; her daughter-in-law Glenda Cowger of Wheeler; her grandchildren, Darlene Coffin, Jacque Cowger, Jacob Cowger, Brittany Ackerman, Reid Ackerman and Tia Cowger; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Coffin, Sarah Coffin, Rachel Coffin, Grant Ackerman, Meredith Ackerman and Blake Ackerman; and her sister Mayme Burk of Effingham. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mabel's memory to Clay County Hospice.
