He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Porter and Lela Porter (Howell); his siblings, Bill Porter, Kathryn Miller and Mary Keefauver; his daughter Christie Kaye Porter; and his sister-in-law Janette Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Tyler; his children, Craig Porter (Cindy) of Ipava, Brian Porter (Lonna) of Ipava and Brenda Crouse (Dave) of Ipava; his grandchildren, Katrina Hartsock (Brian), Derek Porter (Nicole), Levi Porter (Abby), Kristen Peters (Mike), Laci Hildebrand (Ryan), Clay Crouse (Kelsey) and Kylie Kessler (Seth); his great grandchildren, Ava Hartsock, Evan Hartsock, Leah Porter, Mya Porter, Fulton Peters, Rhett Peters, Lainey Peters and Crew Kessler; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Porter, Norm Miller and Don Keefauver.
