He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Marie Jung (Martin Mondragon), Ilsun Jung (Melissa), Anne Somerman (Benjamin) and Myung Duk Jung; his parent Kee Hee; his grandchildren, Betty Narm, Andrew Narm (late Esther), Sean "Daehan" Lee, Jean "Soyeon" Lee, Alexandra Mondragon, Isabela Mondragon, Selena Mondragon, Juliet Mondragon, Mason Jung and Matthew Jung; and his siblings, Kyung Im Choe (late Jong Suk Choe), Cuem Ja Perrone (James Perrone), Hyung Jin Jung (Jung Ja Jung), Soon Im Dunkirk (Charles Dunkirk), Kyung Soon An and Jin Boon Lee (Hyung Nam Lee).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew KIM Korean Catholic Church (1275 N Arlington Heights Rd, Itasca, IL 60143). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
