He was predeceased by: his son Keith Van Lysebettens (Doris Lozano); his sisters, Henriette Leahy (John) and Liane DeSitter (Louis); and his parents, Alphonse Lysebettens and Angele Van Lysebettens.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Pacholczak (Donald), Robert Van Lysebettens, Jr. (Marilou), Paul Van Lysebettens (Debra) and A. Kenneth Van Lysebettens (Christina); his grandchildren, Richard Pacholczak (Kim Davies-Anderson), Michael Pacholczak (Katie), Christopher Van Lysebettens, Stephanie Van Lysebettens, Jennifer Flores (John), Jonathan Van Lysebettens (Esmy Soto), Jacqueline Van Lysebettens, Maya Van Lysebettens and Santi; and his great grandchildren, Timothy Ryan Brandt of John, Flores, III, Jasmine Flores, James Flores and Ruby Van Lysebettens.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Oaks Funeral Home (1201 Irving Park Rd, Itasca, IL 60143). An entombment will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
