With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William McLaughlin of Itasca, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick McLaughlin and Margaret McLaughlin; his siblings, Patrick, John (Emelina) and Nellie Tyburski (Frank); and his in-laws, Bud and Lois Whalley.
He is survived by: his wife Janis; his children, Matthew McLaughlin (Michelle) of Itasca, IL and Kelly Alvarez (Arnie) of Roselle, IL; his grandchildren, Hannah and Ryan Alvarez; his close friend Cassie; his brothers, Denis (Mary Lee) and Eddie (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Cramer (Bill) and Kirk Whalley (Katie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
