Aileen McKinley Medlock Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aileen McKinley Medlock of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank E. Hymes and Nellie Hughes Hymes; her former husband Robert L. McKinley; her husband Clyde "Junior" Medlock; and her siblings, Russell Hymes, Everett Hymes, Oren Hymes, Floyd Hymes, Harold Hymes, Lloyd "Red" Hymes, Charles Hymes, Robert Hymes, Bernice Hoagland, Frances Fouts, Mildred Griffin and Virginia Hymes.
She is survived by: her children, Alan McKinley (Susan), Carolyn White (Paul) of St Peters, MO and Brenda McKinley (Bill Williams) of Waverly; and her sister Betty Burgess of Chapin. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, as well as great and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Jacksonville Skilled Nursing with special thanks to them for the excellent care they provided for her these past years as Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia overtook her body and mind.
