He was predeceased by: his father LeRoy Moss; and his sister Ellen Moss. He is survived by: his mother Hazel Hoots Moss of Jacksonville; his son John Moss (Molly) of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Johnny, Zoey, Waylon and Hazel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 7:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
