She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Earl and Clara Geaschel (Nash); her husband William E. Race; and her siblings, James Geaschel, Carol, Linda and Ruth Geaschel.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Ator (Jeff) of Auburn and William J. "Billy" Race of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Jessica Ator of Jacksonville and Jeremy Ator (Maria) of Bloomington; and her great grandchildren, Ariana, Naomi Severiano, Alanah and Harper Ator.
