It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty N. Vaniter of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil and Irene (Brown); her husband Danny G. Vaniter; her son James; her daughter-in-law Becky Vaniter; her siblings, Roy "Sonny" Stewart and Delores Carl (Stewart); and her siblings-in-law, John Carl and Jeanette "Jean" Stewart (Brogdon).
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis of Jacksonville and Dean (Mary) of McHenry; her daughter-in-law Penny Vaniter of Jacksonville; her stepdaughter Pam Smallwood (Steve) of Springfield, MO; and her granddaughter Coral. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; as well as many special nieces and nephews.
