It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly G. Govreau of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. McKinney and Ada Harris McKinney; her daughter Colette Govreau; and her brother Jim McKinney. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Mosley (Bob) of Shell Knob, MO, Denise Shaffer (Jerry) of Lake St and Renee Smith (Lee) of Anderson, MO; her grandchildren, Eric Shaffer (Kristen), Lauren Stone (Andrew), Tyler Shaffer (Kelsey), Kyle Smith (Ashton) and Courtni Fickle (Drey); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, CeCe, Reed Shaffer and Baby Smith; her sister-in-law Kay McKinney; and her friend Walter Brown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to be made to the Ivy Chapel Church of Christ or the St. Louis Ronald McDonald House.
